Terms of service
Draft for review, October 12, 2026. Not in force. This agreement is being reviewed and nobody accepts it today. It has not been checked by a lawyer; names in brackets are still to be filled in. The full draft under review is kept with the product’s legal documents.
These terms are an agreement between [legal entity, address] ("we") and the organization that creates a workspace ("you"). They cover the GlacierPoint Atlas portal, the Windows app and this website (together, "the service").
1. What the service does
The service reads the configuration of the Microsoft 365 tenants you administer (settings, policies and counts) and writes a dated "as built" document of each, as pages, a PDF and a Word file, with a change log between documents. It does not read mail, files, messages or sign-in logs, and it does not change anything in a tenant, except the app registration of scheduled runs that you confirm.
2. Your account and workspace
- You must be authorized by the owner of each tenant you connect to read it and, for scheduled runs, to create the app registration they need.
- You are responsible for the people you invite to your workspace, the roles you give them, the notes you add and the cover and logo you upload.
3. Plans, payment and refunds
- The Preview is free and limited as described on the pricing page. Paid plans are billed as shown there when you order.
- Paid plans are paid online through our payment provider. A plan runs until its end date and renews only if you turn renewal on; the One-time plan never renews, and the MSP plan runs month by month until canceled.
- If the app did not complete a run of a supported tenant, you may ask for a refund within 14 days of paying.
4. Your data and your documents
Runs, documents and everything the service stores about your tenants remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy, and keep them as long as your plan says.
5. The document is a point in time
A document describes the tenant as it was when the run was made, from what the sign-in could read. It is not an audit opinion or a guarantee, and a part that was not collected is listed as such. [The as-built statement that closes every document is to be written with legal advice.]
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service against tenants you are not authorized to administer, attempt to access other customers' workspaces, or interfere with the service's operation.
7. Warranty and liability
[To be written with legal advice: disclaimer of implied warranties, limitation of liability, exclusion of indirect damages.]
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to close your workspace, which deletes its tenants, runs and documents. We may suspend a workspace that breaks these terms or leaves a payment unpaid, after notice.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction]. Questions: legal@glacierpointtech.com.
